Take a trip back in time with Ride The Ducks’ new “quackadelic” ride, Jerry. Complete with a multi-colored tie-dye exterior, Jerry pays homage to San Francisco’s historic psychedelic past, named after the late Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead.

On Sunday, August 2, an official Jerry Day celebration held at Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in the Excelsior District’s McLaren Park will include live music by local bands, including Stu Allen & Mars Hotel, Melvin Seals & JGB, and Terrapin Family Band. Catch a FREE ride on the psychedelic duck, serving as the Jerry Day shuttle between Glen Park BART Station and the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. Ride The Ducks offers 90-minute tours of the city, beginning at Fisherman’s Wharf and ending with a splash into the San Francisco Bay. The ducks visit many of San Francisco’s most sought after neighborhoods and attractions, including Union Square, North Beach, Ghirardelli Square, and AT&T Park.
