| Description: | Want to see the actual steam engine used in the movie Titanic? Here's a special opportunity to see it in action without going out to sea. The WWII Liberty ship, SS Jeremiah O'Brien, remains tied to historic Pier 45, while just "letting off a little steam" to keep the engine in shape for our next cruise date in October. It's great fun to tour the ship and feel the docks humming with the engine beneath your feet, then topping it off with a trip down three flights into the bowels of the engine room where you can see the pistons pumping, feel the warmth of the steam, and watch the engineers care for the 72 year-old triple expansion steam engine, the heart of the O'Brien.
