The Wax Museum Loves Lovers!

Two really can live as cheaply as one! On Valentine’s Day 2009, visiting couples who ask for the “Lovers’ Special” will be admitted for the price of a single adult.
The happy couples will mingle with many famous duos as they wander among the museum’s life-sized collection of more than 270 celebrities. Royal couples Queen Elizabeth with Prince Phillip and King Tutankhamen and his bride Queen Ankhesenamen have been immortalize in wax, as well as 32nd US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Eleanor, his pro-active, humanitarian First Lady.
Popular film couples are also represented, such as the star-crossed “Titanic” lovers, Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet, the exciting duo “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, convincingly portrayed by Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, and the unforgettable “Gone With The Wind” stars, Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. Local baseball great, Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio can be found nearby in the Sport’s Hall of Heroes, separated from his legendary ex-wife, Marilyn Monroe, who shimmers nearby among a dazzling gathering of Hollywood’s most glamorous ladies.
The Palace of Living Art section of the museum displays a bizarre expression of obsessive love. The wax portrait of Dutch-born painter Vincent Van Gogh is shown with his head swathed in bandages, having cut off his own ear to send to his love as a tribute to his devotion.
